The South African Neill Blomkamp has been close to the game despite his profession as a filmmaker, and his name rose to aion kinah in the first instance by its relation to the hypothetical Halo movie that finally did not materialize.
The director, however, premiered last 2009 one of those considered best science fiction films of recent years, District 9, and naturally was asked about a hypothetical transfer of the film to the world of the game.
“The idea of calling a game on District 9 stresses me a bit because the movie-based games are rarely successful, and the movies based on video games do not buy aion kinah,” Blomkamp said in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times . “I do not know why this happens.”
But despite the stress to the South African idea, the truth is that not displeased at all, since at times certain scenes of action arose as if it were a video game: “So a game would be interesting for me” .
